Canvas N Gallery is intensifying its efforts to expand its business scope by planning the establishment of a large-scale art museum in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province.

Canvas N has announced plans to establish a large-scale art museum in Seojong, Yangpyeong next year, following the opening of its first gallery in Apgujeong Rodeo on the 12th of last month.

The chosen site is in Munhori, Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, and it will be constructed on an approximately 1,320 square meters area. The art museum will consist of two separate buildings, each with four floors, and the goal is to complete the construction by 2024.

The newly established gallery will include a large-scale storage facility and studios to support the artworks of artists affiliated with Canvas N. The focus will be on exhibiting installation and sculptural artworks that harmonize with the beautiful natural environment. Additionally, there will be a cafe and VIP events held on the rooftop.

Meanwhile, Canvas N Gallery located in Apgujeong made a splendid debut with its first curated exhibition titled “Clear and Expansive: Korean Dansaekhwa Masters” showcasing approximately 40 artworks by 15 masters until July 9th. With this achievement, Canvas N has fulfilled its ambition to establish an art ecosystem that transcends both online and offline platforms.

The officials from Canvas N expressed their intention to continue expanding the unique ecosystem of Canvas N by not only opening the first gallery but also establishing the new Canvas N Art Museum in Yangpyeong, creating a landmark for the area. They are determined to further enhance the presence of Canvas N and its artistic influence.
